Press Release for next week's Sentinel (Mar. 5)

This Saturday morning, March 7, Cub Scout Pack 3 will be roaming throughout the Granville area looking for the brown paper grocery bags with yellow flyers on front porches, doorsteps, or by garages, set out by you with canned goods for the Licking County Food Pantry Network.

Last Saturday, we covered as much of the area as we safely could; some of you may have been missed, and if so, we're sorry! The truck where the various Cub Scout dens will take the collected items will be down by Raccoon Creek at the Granville Market from 9 am to 1 pm on Saturday, and feel free to drop your bag off if you wish. Others may have purchased the bags loaded by Cub Scouts this past week at Granville Market, and left them there, and those will be put aboard the truck as well.

This is obviously a critical time for food pantries all across the country, and certainly in Licking County. If you would like to know more about this food drive, Pack 3, or the Licking County Food Pantry Network, please click to http://granvillepack3.blogspot.com, and the Cub Scouts thank you for your help in caring for those who are hungry. We are proud to serve along with you!
